We took the girls to the GA Aquarium on Friday. They loved it. We let them pick out a stuffed animals from the gift shop - Peyton picked out a sweet little pengiun and Reese wanted an alligator. I think it fits their personalities. Check out the pictures of Reese loving on the alligator.

Getting Out of My Crib!!!

Reese has discovered how to get out of her crib. This is clearly a prime example of how she can not be contained by anything. She hoists herself on top of the railing on her bed. Then she using the post on the side of her bed to slide down. She slides down the pole like a firefighter and lands on her feet everytime. We found her in her rocking chair the other night after she had climbed out and couldn't get back in. We are converting her bed to a toddler bed tonight!!!

The Polar Express!

We took the girls to Chattanooga to ride "The Polar Express." Peyton loved it - they did such a great job of making the book and movie come to life. They serve us cookies and hot chocolate. Santa came on board once we reached the "North Pole" and ask each child what they wanted for Christmas. Peyton loved Santa - which shocked us since every year she has been terrified of him. Reese didn't know what to think about him and kept her distance. Daddy even got his picture with Santa too!

We took Peyton to her first Ole Miss game on Friday. She loved it!!! She asked so many questions about the game, the cheerleaders, the different colored teams, etc. She was so fun to watch, she kept screaming "Go Rebels!" By the way - Rebels 45, Miss. State Bulldogs 0!!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! The Denson crew took our annual trip to New Albany, Mississippi. We stayed with Randy and Tameri at the "Dunnam Bed and Breakfast" - great service, spectacular continential breakfast and wonderful company. We are so grateful to them for letting us crash at their home. Thank you so much, Randy, Tameri, Jordan, Sam Jackson and Olivia. Peyton slept with Olivia every night so hopefully Olivia has recovered - Peyton tends to sleep all over the bed so I am sure Olivia got kicked and punched a few times.

We had Peyton's birthday party on Saturday. It had a monkey theme. We rented a moonbounce so the kids could act like monkeys and jump around. We had cupcakes decorated with monkeys and we even had a monkey pinata. Peyton had so much fun on the moonbounce. Our little monkey is so big. Happy Birthday, our gorgeous girl!!!

Happy Halloween!! As you can see, Peyton was a cowgirl and Reese was a cow. Reese's costumes was actually Peyton first halloween costume. Reese reminded us so much of Peyton in that outfit. Peyton costume was complete with pink cowgirl boots and a stick horse. Peyton named her stick horse, Donkey. She said it was Donkey from the movie, Shrek when he turns into a horse after drinking some magic potion. Our Peyton is so smart and has such a great imagination.

Our little monkey is four!! I can't believe it. She is so big now. Daddy and I made her pancakes (her favorite breakfast) complete with a candle. Happy Birthday, our precious big girl!!

Jace had his birthday party on Sunday. It was a farm theme so Peyton wore the necessary attire - cowgirl hat and pink boots! It reminded me of Peyton's first birthday party. Her party was a farm theme as well complete with a tractor cake and hay ride - she loved Pop's moo cows and would always say moo when we pulled down the driveway. She was even a cow that Halloween. She is so big now. Where does the time go?

Peyton was terrified of the water (ocean, pool, etc.) which you probably figured out from the swimming lessons picture from an earlier post. Anyways, we finally got her into the pool on vacation by force. Well by weeks end, she was swimming around with no floaties on and jumping in and out of the pool like it was nothing. I think if we had another week she would have been swimming.

While we were at the beach, Peyton started running a fever so Aaron went and brought her a kite to help her feel better. She loved flying it and seeing how high we could make it go but I think the big kids (Aaron and Johnny) enjoyed it the most!

Reese loved the beach and the sand and the ocean. She was everywhere. We couldn't keep Reese out of the water. She tried to eat some of the sand the first day but after the initial tasting, I guess she decided she didn't like it because she didn't try again. She was so cute trying to walk on the sand.

Peyton of course is still scared of the water so she wouldn't go on the slip and slide but Reese was all about the pool. Reese is walking! It is so unbelievable that she is 9 months and walking already. She is determined to keep up with her sister. She had taken a few steps here and there between furniture but this weekend she decided to take off. She is now trying to walk everywhere and only crawls if she needs to go fast! Reese got this toy from my dad for Christmas. She loves to walk all around it and play with the toys. Well, Peyton decided that she needed to ride it. Peyton had a dress up day at her preschool. All the kids were supposed to dress up as what they want to be when they grow up. As if, Aaron and I weren't proud enough of Peyton, she said she wanted to be a doctor. I asked her why she wanted to be a doctor and she said that she wanted to make people feel better when they are sick. She has such a sweet heart, we are so blessed to have two wonderful, sweet little girls.
